Pray for Olivia’s Paperwork

Dear family, friends, and faithful supporters,

Here’s a quick update on some of the goings-on here in the Big City.

Pray for Olivia’s paperwork

We wanted to write a special email to request your fervent prayer over the next few weeks as we pursue obtaining the appropriate birth documentation for Olivia. This is very important, because without proper identific ation, we can’t travel to the U.S. with Olivia in December.

We know, from our experience with Bella, that the process can be a grueling one. We will begin the process tomorrow morning with a trip to the U.S. Embassy in downtown Mexico City. Next week we will be visiting with at least one Mexican judge, followed by another trip to the Embassy.

Please pray: — That God would go before us in our dealings with both the U.S. and Mexican governments. — That God would soften the hearts of the officials that we deal with. — That our dealings with the Mexican government would be free of anti-Americanism and other prejudices. — That we would obtain both the Mexican and American birth certificates in time for our December travel.

As always, thank you so much for your steadfast prayer for us! We couldn’t do it without you! We will be sending regular updates over the next couple of weeks to let you know how everything is going.

Love, Luke, Lindsay, Bella, and Olivia
