Dear Praying friends and family,
In my last prayer post, I shared with you that we have joined with a mission team north of Mexico City, in a community called Pachuca. We’ve spent the past few weekends there, getting to know the area, the team, and the church. The church plant there is enthusiastic, with the young congregation already growing. We are excited to be a part of all of it!
Over the next few weeks, we need your prayers on several fronts:
First, please pray for the move to Pachuca. Although Pachuca is close to Mexico City, our working there will require a move so that we can live in the same community where we are ministering. Please pray especially that God would provide an ideal place for us to rent.
Second, please pray that the transition would be smooth. Pray especially for our two girls. Right now they are excited, but we know that changing homes and environments can sometimes be stressful for little ones. Also, pray that we would form quick friendships in Pachuca, with the church and with others in the community.
Finally, please pray for me as I will be talking with a number of churches in the US about supporting us and the ministry here. We haven’t done any big support gathering since we moved to Mexico nearly seven years ago, and I could use your prayers as I share the ministry vision with others.
As always, thank you for your prayers.
Un abrazo fuerte (A big hug),
