In the last prayer post, I asked you to pray for our upcoming move. Now we are only 10 days away from moving from our house on the south side of the city to Pachuca, a community just north of the city.
First, we could really use your prayers for Lindsay. She has hurt her back and has needed to spend most of the last few days laying down. She is pretty critical to the whole moving process, as she usually packs the boxes, and I pick them up. The good news is that she was able to see a doctor today who helped her with some basic physical therapy. He said that she’ll need to continue to take it easy for a few days, so please pray that we would somehow be able to get everything done that we need to.
Next, please pray for our neighborhood. There is a severe water shortage in the entire colonia, with nobody receiving city water for about two weeks. Our apartment has a water tank, so thus far we’ve had water, but it’s running low without the city water filling it up. We’re rationing, with post-it notes on all the faucets as reminders. Please pray not just for us but for the whole neighborhood.
Finally, please continue to ask God to provide us with a place to live in Pachuca. We’re still on the hunt.
As always, thank you for your prayers.
