Please Pray - Thanking God for an incredible year

Dear Prayer Partners,

As always, thank you for your steadfast prayer for us. We certainly experienced the answers to your prayers last month as we traveled Stateside. We were able to connect with several of our supporting churches, go to the National Missionary Convention, and have some blessed time with our families. We’ve returned to Mexico energized and eager to see what God has in store for us and the Jubilee church plant where we work.

I want to use this prayer post simply to extend to you our warm greetings this Christmas and to share some of what God has done. We are blessed to have been missionaries in urban Mexico for these years, and we wanted to share with you some of our favorite highlights from 2010. As we look back over the year, God’s faithfulness is obvious. I also want to remind you that almost everything on this list is something that you prayed especially about:

January: Transition to New Missions Systems as our parent organization

February: Celebrated Jubilee’s 3rd Anniversary

March: Terrific Missionary Reunion in Huasca • Training at NMSI

April: Elijah Luke, handsome baby boy born • Jubilee move to new rental facility

May: Good buddy Orlando baptized • Seminar on teaching at Jubilee • NCC Houston visit

June: New small group launch in our neighborhood

July: Sports Camp outreach • Panama NMSI Regional Conference • WACC Amarillo visit • Haircutting classes as outreach

August: Celebrated 10 years of marital bliss • First-ever Jubilee Men’s Retreat • FCC Champaign visit

September: First-ever Vision Summit • Mexico’s bicentennial

October: Pat Bonner seminar on the Holy Spirit at Jubilee

November: Travel to US to see supporters and families and board• Alonzo baptized

December: Our teammates, the Duggins, celebrate 30 years of missionary service

Thank you for your love, support, and prayers. May God bless you richly this Christmas as we remember His birth.

Un abrazo fuerte, –Luke
