Please Pray - Leaders, Land, Listening…

Dear friends and family,

Thanks so much for praying for our elders’ planning retreat last month. The Lord blessed it, and we’ve got some great things in store for the church this year!

Second, many of you know that since Jubilee’s launch we have been strategically praying for the pastor that will lead the church for years to come. Well, God has been unexpectedly opening some doors, and we have some preliminary conversations lined up with potential candidates over the next couple of weeks. I want to ask you for prayer on our behalf and on behalf of those who we will be talking with. We are hopeful that God has some great stuff in store for the Jubilee plant, and we are confident that He will provide just the right leadership in just the right timing. Pray that we will listen with spiritual discernment, and ask God to open and close doors according to His will!

Finally, please continue to pray for the Building Project. Pray that our church and sister churches give generously! And pray for the long, sometimes arduous, process sorting out all of the legalities with the land and building before the government. We have a meeting this Saturday with some church leaders and we’ll be discussing the next steps for various church/government issues (too tedious to list here…) including decisions that will affect the timing of the future construction. If you think about us on Saturday, please spend a minute or two praying for God’s leadership and provision!

Thank you so much for your faithful prayer. We are blessed by God’s answers to it every day.

Un abrazo, –Luke

PS: Although not directly ministry-related, I thought this photo of Bella and Eli dancing was too good to pass up. He put on his sunglasses, went to Bella and asked, May I have this dance?”
