Please Pray - Hasta Luego”

Dear Praying Friends and Family,

Thank you so much for your prayers for us and for the kind notes we’ve received regarding the very good news about Edwin and Jesse joining the Jubilee church plant! We’re excited to have them come in September.

This month, I’d like to share another major transition for the church. Our friends and colleagues, Jorge and Juanita Del Angel, have announced that they will be leaving Pachuca so that they can be closer to their children and grandchildren. (They’re quick to add that they’re not retiring” because wherever they live, they’ll be serving in the local church!) Jorge and Juanita are co-founders of the Jubilee plant, and have been present since Day 1. They have a powerful testimony of radically following Jesus by leaving behind high-level employment in a multinational firm and giving themselves entirely to God’s calling on their lives in church ministry. We will miss their tireless labor and the unique gifting that they brought to the team and the ministry over the years!

Please be praying for them over the next couple of months, and pray for the church as we say hasta luego to long-time co-laborers. Please pray especially on August 25th, Jorge and Juanita’s final Sunday at Jubilee before their move. And join us in praising God for His future blessings for the Del Angel family and for the Jubilee church family.

Also, thank you so much for your prayers for our family’s Home Assignment travel. Already we’ve visited a couple of churches and we’ll be doing much more of that over the coming weeks before our time as Missionaries On Campus at Ozark Christian College begins.

We continue to be amazed by God’s generosity over the Jubilee plant, and we are so thankful for the prayerful support from all of you!

Un abrazo, –Luke
