Please Pray: Church in Lagos

Dear praying friends and family,

First, thank you for praying for us and for the exciting things that God is doing by establishing new churches in rapidly growing cities around the globe.

Second, I want to introduce you to one of our new church leaders: Femi Osunnuyi from Lagos, Nigeria Lagos is the largest city on the African continent and one of the largest in the world. As a Lagos native, Femi has a burden for the growing population of the city that does not know Christ and is not connected with a church. He and his wife, Tosin, are working to start a new church near the central business district. Please pray for them as they begin their ministry. Pray for their fundraising efforts over the next few months, for their connections with people in the city, and pray for us at Orchard Group, that we would serve the project well. We look forward to a new church in this great city!

Finally, I plan to be at the Exponential East church planting conference in a few weeks. If you also plan to be there, I’d love to connect. Let me know, and perhaps we can grab a cup of coffee.

As always, thank you for your support of, belief in, and prayer for churches around the world.

Un abrazo, Luke

PS — the photo shows a landmark bridge connecting Lagos’ islands and peninsulas near the central business district.
